Applicant is expected to possess leadership, supervisory and administrative skills necessary to manage all components of a early childhood learning center.
? Ensure all NYS regulations and policies with regard to operation are adhered.
? After necessary approval, handle the ordering of all preschool supplies and equipment.
? Supervise all preschool staff. Coordinate teachers / aides schedules to meet class needs, evaluate performance, encourage staff development and maintain required employee documentation.
? Update and coordinate all school activities with Teachers.
? Market the school to the church and surrounding communities with an aim for expansion and increased success in fulfilling the vision and mission of Bellerose Assembly of God and So Big Preschool.
? Maintain a visible and positive relationship with Bellerose Assembly of God congregation including leaders, children’s ministry and the church office.
? Establish an annual budget with the bookkeeper of Bellerose Assembly of God and work to ensure fiscal stability of the school.
? Implement and maintain policies and procedures for effective managing of the school as it relates to safety, security and effectiveness for students, their parents, staff and the school in general.
? The position reports to the Senior Pastor of Bellerose A/G.
The ideal candidate will have worked in an educational setting (preferably early childhood) with a related degree, should be proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software, experience with planning and budgeting. Anyone considering this position should view this as a call to ministry to preschool age children and their families.
