Creative Arts Leader

We are a creative church and we are looking for a person to fill a creative arts position.  So unless you have creativity coming out of your ears, please move on.  If you end up in this position you will report to the Youth Pastor.  Your main responsibility will be to provide leadership and management to staff and volunteer teams across our 3 campuses.  But you’ll also be directing traffic with staff who will work with student bands, technical teams, creating videos, doing graphic design, and managing our communication processes via our website, social media and email.  There might be a little bit of worship leading in there as well. If you can lead students in doing any of that you are headed in the right direction.  And in all of it you’ve got to be an eager learner and quick adapter.  In the end you’ve got to bleed for creating a safe environment for students all over the spiritual spectrum to take steps on their journey with Jesus.  And when I say “all over the spiritual spectrum” I mean just that.

Responsibilities

• Preserve vision of YouthCrossing in the realm of creative arts
• Work closely with campus youth pastors in implementing service details
• Manage, lead, and oversee staff and key volunteers
• Produce multiple weekly services at different campuses
• Lead weekly programming and brainstorming meeting
• Oversee creative communication through website, social media and email newsflash
• Be a part of the YouthCrossing teaching team
• Be a pastoral presence at weekly YouthCrossing services
