Job Description:
New Venture Christian Schools has an exciting opportunity for an Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our talented team! The ideal candidate will have completed the course work as stated below and have at least 2 years of teaching/classroom experience. Candidates must be able to lovingly care for infants/children and communicate effectively with parents and staff. Must be creative and energetic, providing inside and outside activities for children until dismissal, and prepare and maintain the playground area for activities.

New Venture Christian Fellowship is a non-denominational church located in the community of Oceanside, North San Diego County. • High school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have completed the following course work: Child Development, Child Family and Community, Infant & Toddler, and one curriculum class.
• Minimum 2 years childcare and classroom experience.
• Ability to safely lift 30 pounds from floor to waist level 10-15 times daily.
• CPR & First Aid certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish relationships with children, parents and staff.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings if needed and scheduled.
• Team player with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with attention to detail.
• Candidates must be local to Southern California and available for immediate full-time consideration.
• All candidates must be able to prove eligibility to work in the United States.
