Wanted: Fantastically creative person who is uber organized and loves Jesus. Must be able to kick out high quality graphic design work for sermon series, website, print collateral, signage, general communications, and, well, anything else
that needs a pretty face on it. Also must be able to lead and manage communication plans so things like Sunday program, inserts, announcement slides, weekly e-news, web content, sermon series and print advertisements are awesome and on brand. This person will
develop and implement internal and external strategic marketing plans for Sunday worship services and will make holidays, fall launches, key sermon series, Community Groups and Missions extra special. Other items on the agenda include managing the website
and a little cultural phenomenon called social media.
So what do you need to be qualified? Experience doing all of the above at a church or other institution. If that’s asking too much, probably a degree in graphic design and a bunch of experience managing communication and strategic marketing plans. Lots of
time with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Most importantly, a love for Jesus and willingness to invest and participate in what’s happening at Maple Grove Covenant Church.
By the way, formal title is Graphic Designer and Communications Manager, and this position is 20 hours/week…so you have time for other stuff.
