The Church of the Cross, Fort Myers, Florida is a Christ centered, interdenominational, evangelical Church accepting all persons who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. The Church is an independent congregation seeking a college and seminary graduate experienced in, teaching Biblically based Christian education; officiating weddings, baptisms and funerals; counseling individuals in light of the Scriptures; visitation of the sick and elderly; oversight of Church staff and strategic planning for the Church.

 

Candidates must have a clear record of personal integrity and must be experienced in preparing and delivering sermons that are Biblical, relevant and inspirational with meaning for believers and un-churched alike.

Church of the Cross is a Protestant, Bible-based, Christ-centered, inter-denominational body of believers.  Our congregation come from very diverse religious backgrounds, representing no less than 9 different denominations. Our desire is to make disciples for Jesus Christ by loving God wholeheartedly and loving others (see Matt 28:18-20; 22:37-39). All of our worship, ministries, programs, and efforts will be designed with this vision in our hearts and minds.
