Smoky Hill Vineyard of Denver, CO is seeking a full-time Director of Children’s Ministry. The ideal candidate loves Jesus, and is passionate, competent and experienced in equipping children (birth through 6th grade) to authentically follow Jesus.
We desire to partner with a proven, transformational, leader of leaders who will help guide and equip Smoky Hill Vineyard volunteer leaders toward fulfilling this vision.
Specifically, we desire to realize the following outcomes in our ministry to SHVKids:
Children would experience an ever-increasing, authentic relationship with Jesus.
Children would experience Christ-centered relationships with their parents, church leaders and friends.
Children would be equipped to bring kingdom ministry to friends, family and neighbors.
The successful Children’s Director will have a deep, authentic relationship with Jesus, a history of active involvement in the leadership of a local church, and a commitment to maintaining healthy, accountable relationships. A Christ honoring lifestyle
marked by personal holiness, servanthood, gratitude, joy, and an ever-increasing dependence on the Holy Spirit is a must. Knowledge of the Bible is needed, along with a growing passion to lead volunteer leaders in their walk with God. A love for worship,

for ministry is essential. 5 years Children’s Ministry Leadership experience in a larger church (worship attendance of at least 1,000) is preferred.
As with all leaders at Smoky Hill Vineyard, the Director of Children’s Ministry will be expected to learn, understand, and embrace the vision, values and ministry model of the Vineyard; practice transformational over transactional leadership; demonstrate
loyalty to the local church and to the surrounding community; and be a team player and builder.
