Job Description:

Living Water Community Church is a progressive, multi-ethnic church with a Sunday attendance of 950 in the southwest suburbs of Chicago with a state of the art children’s ministry center. We are looking for a dynamic person to lead our Children’s Ministry Department which ministers to Birth – 6th grade. This person should have at least 3 years of experience leading a children’s ministry. They should demonstrate creativity in delivering the Gospel and the ability to create an attractive environment. We are looking for someone who is organized and good at recruiting people, building teams and training and equipping people to do the work of ministry. We are looking for someone who loves people and has a plan for reaching the unchurched and discipling children, with the ability to effectively execute those plans. Other areas of interest to us are the ability to develop worship, drama and puppet teams. This person needs a good working knowledge of computers in a cross platform environment (PC and Mac).
