YOUTH AND FAMILY PASTOR
Masters Degree in area of ministry specialty, Master of Divinity preferred. Ordination as Elder in Full Connection in UMC preferred but not mandatory.
The Youth and Family Pastor will support, lead, resource, train and oversee the discipleship of the children and youth from 0 - 18 years, and all parents and volunteers who nurture them.

oDevelop multi-faceted, multi-layered ministry, for infant/toddler, children, middle school and high school youth and their parents: from nursery care, Sunday School, Youth Ministry and Parent programming, small groups and workshops.
oDevelop leadership resourcing and program development and volunteer recruitment and training for ministries as well as for the entire Church ministry as a whole, in areas including but not limited to: infant/toddler care, children's ministry, and youth program, and related family programming.
oDevelop, in consultation with Discipleship Pastor and Senior Pastor Contemporary Worship "Kid's Church" programming and children's programming and messages within Sunday Worship.
oTraining and leadership resource for Summer Day Camp for Kids (VBS), including resourcing and support of the Design Team and volunteer coordination, teacher and youth counselor training, and attendance at Day Camp, as a worship leader and programming resource.
oWork with Music Director and Music Ministry volunteers to coordinate ministry of music with children and youth.
oCoordinating Administration of children, youth and young adult ministry work area with the overall administration of the Church, overseeing finance and budgeting, internal and external communication, and data management within the Church information systems.
