Job Description:

Full-Time position working with the Creative Team of our church. This position will focus on video production across multiple disciplines while being able to collaborate with photograhy, graphic work and web team members. Applicants must be able to work with a team.


Skills Required

  • Competent knowledge of media/video production techniques including lighting for video, audio capture and camera skills
  • Hands on experience working with computer software such as Adobe Products, including Photoshop, After Effect, Premiere and Final Cut Pro Suite, and various video, graphical, and web based applications
  • Familiarity with posting digital media online
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage projects and tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a deadline-intensive environment
  • Ability to see a project from conception through to completion
  • High level of initiative with minimum supervision
  • Experience in media event production
  • Working knowledge of media including lighting systems, audio systems, video systems
  • Ability to collaborate with other members in a team environment



  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 or more years of experience in video content creation

  • Assist in the direction, production and editing of video from the weekend service
  • Assist with presentation of live online streams
  • Oversee projects from conception to completion

  • Work with creative team to conceptualize videos to match desired theme
  • Secure all material and resources necessary for successful execution
  • Produce creative video elements for sermon illustrations, worship enhancement, message enhancement and weekend content
  • Conduct proper planning to secure resources (people, facilities etc.) necessary for video production
  • Manage and operate necessary equipment for video shoots (lighting, sound, camera, etc)
  • Utilize motion graphics to enhance video production
  • Upload media onto social media and internet platforms
  • Identify and utilize effective music to enhance video productions
  • Utilize cutting-edge techniques to enhance quality of video productions
  • Recruit and train volunteers to serve in media production teams
  • Research and create benchmarks to stay ahead of the curve
  • Manage, maintain and report on all equipment supplies and needs
  • Cross-trained to support all Communications Department functions as assigned by Communications Director
