Job Description:

If you are a spirit-filled, joyful Christian with a real heart for music ministry, who loves Jesus and has a biblical foundation to your beliefs we'd love to talk to you.

We are seeking a musically gifted individual with a calling from God to lead our congregation with song and praise.  An ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, God-centered leader with a bold and confident worship style.  Diversified musical styles and the ability to engage a multi-generational group would be a great asset for our congregation.  We are hoping to find a spiritually mature, humble, encouraging and compassionate individual with a desire to lead and teach amateur musicians and vocalists to praise God with music and song.

Applicants must be ready to further the Great Commission by performing the following:

Demonstrate flexibility in developing and implementing musical ministries both within the church and outreach ministries to the community.

Emphasize and incorporate fresh, current music into all worship services.

Demonstrate a high level of commitment to Jesus Christ by professing Him as their Lord and Saviour and living their life as a shining example to the community based in scripture including, without limitation, 1 Timothy Chapters 2 and 3.

Join and actively participate as a member of the congregation within 90 days of accepting employment.

Establish a residence close to the church (preferably within a radius of 10 miles from the church) within 90 days of accepting employment to reduce absences, improve responsiveness, promote being part of the community or for other reasons that may from time to time form a reasonable basis for this requirement.

Agree to fully cooperate in completing a detailed background check.
