Because of our proximity to schools we are seeking a married Pastor with school-aged children (or above) who has quantifiable experience with marriage and family ministry. Previous vocational pastoral experience is necessary due to the complexity of working
with a congregation in transition. The next Lead Pastor needs to be a team builder who doesn’t need to do all the ministry himself but is willing to empower, equip, and release the congregants to do the work of the ministry. Emotionally healthy relational
skills are a must. The candidate needs to have a deep commitment to gospel-centered worship, fellowship, discipleship, and mission. The candidate should be well spoken with a reasonably strong preaching gift, plus a demonstrated commitment to being a life-long
A graduate degree is preferred. Additional preferences include someone who currently either resides in, or who grew up in, the North East; and with the average age in Manchester being thirty-nine, we would prefer someone in their early to mid-forties.
