The role of Senior Pastor will have significant input for vision, direction, and implementation to lead and equip the body to "do the work of the ministry". We are looking for a man who loves the Word of God, and will love the people God calls him to serve.

Organizationally, the role of the Senior Pastor will give oversight to the pastoral and lead staff, encouraging unity, exhorting in love, and leading staff to focus upon equipping the congregation for ministry. He will oversee the filling of the weekend services by preaching regularly or opening the pulpit to qualified teachers. He will develop teams of pastoral staff and body members who are gifted in teaching and leadership to grow the next generation of leaders within SCBC.
