Job Description:
First United Methodist Church of St. Petersburg, FL is seeking a BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR to establish and implement church-wide financial, personnel and administrative objectives, policies and programs which are in keeping with the church’s overall vision. Additional responsibilities would include overseeing the maintenance of the church’s physical facilities and managing all maintenance personnel.
Salary and benefits are commensurate with those offered throughout the community and the Florida United Methodist Conference. Educational and proficiency requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or other related degree. Five to ten years work experience in Human Resources or Finance Management preferred. Must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal). Previous leadership experience with a thorough understanding of the working relationships within church congregational volunteer organizations desired.
