POSITION DESCRIPTION: Executive Pastor for Administration
General Qualifications:

We are looking for God’s man to oversee the administrative functions of Christ Community Church in Tucson, Arizona with an average attendance of 1500 people. We are committed to Growing a Community, Reaching a Community with the life-changing truth of the Gospel. The individual we are seeking should be an experienced executive pastor for administration. He will serve as member of a leadership team and will report to the Elder Board. A candidate must have a BA or BS; M Div is desirable, five years ministry experience, ten or more years work experience, and actual supervisory experience of at least five years. We desire that the individual have business/finance experience (managing budgets, controlling expenses). He must be able to develop a strong working relationship with the other leadership team members and be able to disagree without being disagreeable. Must function working well in a team environment.

His purpose is to oversee the financial and administrative functions of the church and supervise the support staff including the secretaries, facility team, business manager, and the office manager. He will be on rotation with the other pastors for on Call (hospital visits). This position is a full-time, salaried position. In addition this person will be assigned one or two ministries to pastor within his spiritual giftedness.

Spiritual Qualifications:

He must meet I Timothy 3:1-7 qualifications, be a committed Christian (bears spiritual fruit, balances life, demonstrates emotional health and stability), lives consistently within the biblical standards, and be able to endorse (as long as he is in service at Christ Community Church) the constitution and doctrinal statement of faith of Christ Community Church and submit to the leadership of the elders.
