Job Description:
Sound Technician/Technical Director. Duties will include, but are not limited to, running house sound for all church services, weddings and all special services. It involves serving as the lead audio engineer, managing and training other audio engineers, and the oversight of all audio equipment, including lighting and projection. A minimum of 2 years experience in sound reinforcement is required. This person must be extremely organized and driven by excellence in this field. Equally important is the ability to deal with musicians, ministers, volunteers and church family, in a respectful and sincere way. Serious inquiries only. This is for the more seasoned sound engineer who is looking for something new and fresh as well as a church that is healthy, growing and thriving. This is a short list of duties, goals and expectations.
Objectives: (job description)

1. Run sound for all services and rehearsals.
2. Run sound for all special services.
3. Would be in charge of all projection and lighting aspects of the church
4. Record all services
5. Ability to mix on a Mackie TT 24 digital board.
6. Experience with DMX lighting, fixed and intelligent fixtures.
7. Experience with video and multimedia projection.
8. Ability to install, maintain, and train others to use audio/video/lighting systems.

2. Maintain, check and oversee all aspects of sound for all buildings
3. Strive for excellence in every area of sound.
4. Must be familiar with analog as well as digital sound boards
1. Must be spirit-filled with the evidence of speaking in tongues. This is a non-negotiable.
2. Must understand how to work in a charismatic church format and staff. We place value on the
relational chemistry of staff members getting along with one another.
3. A degree in sound engineering or sound reinforcement is preferred but is not necessary.
4. Must understand and be able to complete all areas of sound, including but not limited to,
soldering, gain ratios, speaker and amp wiring, be able to hear and balance frequencies, etc.
5. Must have a good ear for mixing vocals as well as instruments. This person will understand
the need to flow with the band and adjust settings as needed. If you are a musician, this is a plus.
6. Recruit and train others to run sound/lighting/projection.
