Job Description:
Worship Technology Coordinator
The coordinator’s principle function is the ministry of equipping God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ will mature spiritually (Ephesians 4:11-13). The ministry of equipping is primarily a ministry of the Word, of prayer, and of modeling the Christian life (Acts 6:4; 1 Timothy 4:13; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). The ministry of equipping is secondarily a ministry of leadership (Hebrews 13:7,17) and management/oversight (Acts 20:28; 1 Timothy 3:2; Titus 1:7) of the church’s ministries and spiritual life.
Worship Technology Coordinator
Equip, lead and manage the technical aspects of worship and other ministries.
•Character: The Worship Technology Coordinator must be a person of irreproachable character (1 Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9), who is sound in faith and doctrine. They must be in full accord with the Chippewa Evangelical Free Church Statement of Faith and must be willing to perform their duties in accordance with the Constitution and By-laws of the church.
•Leadership: Able to set a compelling vision based on our purposes as a church, applied to the specific ministry areas of responsibility.
•Management: Demonstrated ability to recruit, equip and lead ministry systems and volunteers.
•Knowledge: Demonstrated desire to be a life-long learner. Possesses significant knowledge of ministry needs and processes for equipping believers to complete the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40).
•Followership: Team player who is able to take direction from and committed to the ministry vision of the Worship Pastor.

o Develop a plan for theatrical lighting for all venues.
o Recruit, train, and organize a team of operators to run for both volunteer and paid events.
o Oversee purchase and rental of lights for all venues.
o Interface with incoming events concerning lighting needs.
B. Computer
o Recruit, train, and organize a team of operators to run for both volunteer and paid events
o Develop the media ministry (video recording and editing).
o Produce image magnification and recording for venues.
o Develop worship presentations including song slides and sermons.
o Train volunteers on presentation/editing software including Iworship, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
o Interface with incoming events concerning media needs.
o In coordination with the Information Technology Coordinator:
a.Maintain worship computers hardware and software.
b.Provide input for system upgrades and enhancements as needed.
o Coordinate maintenance for all sound gear.
o Oversee sound personnel for “primetime” events.
o Interface with incoming events concerning sound reinforcement.
o Oversee all sound equipment and manage platform equipment for various scenarios (weddings, funerals, weekends, musicals, concerts, etc.)
o Recruit, train, and organize a team of operators to run for both volunteer and paid events.
o Coordinate sound reinforcement for outdoor events (baptism, pig roast, etc.)
o Manage equipment for all venues and ministry needs.
