Job Description:

Christ Presbyterian Church (CPC) of Edina, Minnesota, a large Twin Cities congregation, seeks a Director of Communications. This position includes develo nd implementing a comprehensive strategy for effectively telling the stories of CPC, its people, its programs, and its special events, as well as shaping the CPC brand in all communications pieces and providing leadership to the communications staff.

Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the production of all church communications and manage the informational content of the CPC website;
- Execute marketing strategies and plans for CPC and its ministries;
- Supervise a creative team, including two Graphic Designers and Web Master.

We are looking for a person who believes that their work is not just a job but also a ministry, and that their efforts support the evangelistic outreach, ministry, mission, and strategic vision of the entire church. Requirements include a knowledge of, and proven track record in, marketing, graphic design, strategic communications, and/or public relations principles. Excellent writing and editing skills a must.

This is a full-time, exempt, permanent Program Staff position reporting to the Executive Pastor, who in turn reports to the Senior Pastor.
